Located in the industry-rich city of Pasadena, the San Jacinto College District (SJCD) Central Campus hosts, on average, 11,000 students each semester. In order to keep up with technology advancement and curriculum demands, SJCD opened the Central Campus Interactive Learning Center in January 2004. Inside this 84,000 s.f. facility, students will find a 150-station computer lab open 15 hours a day, more than a dozen fully equipped computer labs, distance learning labs and a state-of-the-art teaching theater. Aside from the building’s $10 million price tag, SJCD poured a whopping $2,000,000 into technology equipment and custom furniture alone.
