Nestled among a canopy of mature oak and pine trees on the San Jacinto College North Campus, the new Interactive Learning Center is situated on a site that is reminiscent of a park atmosphere. This state-of-the-art computer opened to more than 6,000 eager students in the Spring of 2004. Through exhaustive work by the architects, committee members and end-users, this facility is equipped with the most current technology hardware and software available. Upon registration, students are allowed full access to the center including the 100-station computer commons open 16 hours a day, distance learning lab, collaboration classrooms, and even the “cyber” café.
